Our accommodation is located in the heart of Budapest, in the lively downtown quarter between Andrássy Avenue and the Grand Boulevard, so many of the city’s sights and activities are just a few minutes’ walk away.

Sights and walks

  • Andrássy Avenue: An elegant UNESCO World Heritage boulevard lined with grand palaces, cafés, and shops – a perfect walking route from the city centre to Heroes’ Square.
  • Heroes’ Square: One of Budapest’s most impressive squares, with the Millennium Monument, easily reached on foot or by the M1 metro.
  • City Park (Városliget): A large city park behind Heroes’ Square, with a lake, Vajdahunyad Castle, and museums – ideal for relaxing and strolling.
  • Oktogon and Liszt Ferenc Square: A bustling square with restaurants, terraces, and evening entertainment, just a few minutes’ walk away.

 

Culture and theatre

  • Budapest Operetta Theatre (17 Nagymező Street) – grand operetta and musical performances in the heart of Budapest’s “Broadway”.
  • Thália Theatre (22–24 Nagymező Street) – classical and contemporary theatre performances.
